Reunions
This year, it’s our bicentenary – and throughout 2024 we’re marking 200 years of learning, innovation and research. 200 years of our incredible people. 200 years of global influence. Why not be a part of Team 200 and organise a reunion with old friends?
Alumni will receive 20% discount off their room rate at the Hyatt Regency hotel during our Bicentenary Festival in June.
Find out more about this event and other bicentenary events throughout 2024 on our website.
Getting in touch with old friends
Because we’re in contact with University of Manchester graduates worldwide, we can help you organise a reunion by putting you in touch with old friends.
Organise a reunion
We can find alumni by:
- year of graduation;
- subject of study;
- country/location.
When you have decided who you would like to invite to your reunion, email alumni@manchester.ac.uk and we’ll send an initial letter or email to the group on your behalf to gauge the level of interest and ask them to reply directly to you.
MBA/DBA reunions
Email alumnioffice@mbs.ac.uk to find out how we can help you organise a reunion.
Tips
Date
We recommend setting the date for your reunion at least six months in advance, or 12 months if you are inviting alumni from overseas.
Format
You may wish to consider if your reunion will be a formal or a casual gathering or a weekend full of events. Consider if the invitation is also open to family and friends.
Visit Manchester is the official tourism site of Greater Manchester where you can search for things to do and find out what’s on.
