What can I do to celebrate the bicentenary where I live?
Who can celebrate bicentenary?
Bicentenary celebrations are open to anyone! You don’t have to be a student, staff member, or alum of The Manchester University to celebrate with us – anyone can be part of Team 200!
What events are being held to celebrate bicentenary?
You can find all centrally organised bicentenary events and activities here
Is anything happening close to me?
We are currently organising local bicentenary celebrations all over the world. If you’d like to find out if there any celebrations going on in your country, email alumni.volunteering@manchester.ac.uk
Can I set up my own event to celebrate bicentenary?
Of course! We would love to celebrate with as many of our global community as possible. If you have an idea for a local event you would like to hold, fill in this form, and a member of the alumni relations team will get back to you.
What support will I get to set up my own event?
We will support you with an initial consultation meeting to discuss your plans for an event, as well as advertising the event to our international alumni community in your region.
Is there any official design I can use?
You can find The University’s bicentenary identity guidelines here.
