The Cockcroft Rutherford Lecture 2022 – Innovators of Tomorrow
In times of unprecedented change and growing inequalities, how do we help young people gain the skills and aptitudes to deliver a society which works well for everyone. How do we ensure that we benefit from the creative thinking of those who may be younger and wiser?
This year’s event will be particularly special as we will also present an honorary degree to Maggie, the highest honour the University can bestow, in recognition of her services to science and technology.
Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell, President and Vice Chancellor, will Chair the lecture, which will be followed by Q&A with the audience. There will be a drinks reception to follow.
