Alumni mixer with current and prospective students
Meet fellow Manchester alumni and connect over drinks. You will be joined by a small group of current students funded by the University to travel to San Francisco as part of our Global Graduates programme.
The students would be keen to hear about your career since graduation; your advice can help to raise their confidence and aspirations for the future.
The event is also open to offer holders and prospective students; this is an opportunity to mingle and get your questions asked about life in Manchester. Under 21s are permitted on the premises – proof of age checks would take place at the bar.
Date: Thursday, 20 June
Venue: Thirsty Bear, 661 Howard St., San Francisco, CA 94105
Cost: Self-paid/no host (one free drink each covered by The University)
About the Global Graduates programme:
Funded through the generous contributions of alumni donors, every year 32 students are given the opportunity to participate in the Global Graduates programme and meet alumni professionals across the world. Over 85% of students who are selected onto the programme are from low income backgrounds and may be the first in their families to receive a university education. Help inspire our students and encourage them to achieve great things, regardless of their background, by talking to them on the day.
