The Manchester Network is The University of Manchester’s online professional networking service.
- students connect with alumni professionals;
- alumni connect with fellow alumni;
- alumni change their address and personal details.
Connecting and getting advice
Ask Me About
The Manchester Network features Ask Me About, which students and alumni can use to connect with 2,500 alumni who want to:
- offer careers advice;
- review CVs and applications;
- offer work experience, internships and jobs.
* Manchester Gold is currently on pause. Look out for the relaunched programme later in 2020 *
Students can also use the Manchester Network to apply to join the Manchester Gold – a more formal mentoring programme that takes place over six months.

Changing addresses and personal details
The Manchester Network is also used by alumni to change their address and personal details.
Current students can use their normal University login details to access the Manchester Network.
Alumni must register separately but can do so with their LinkedIn login details.
