Re-write the future of cancer

Project Image

Every two minutes, someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer. But research here at Manchester could hold the key to a brighter future for those affected by cancer. Will you help tackle cancer head-on by making a gift today?

In 2017, the Paterson Building – home to much of Manchester's world-leading cancer research – suffered a devastating fire. It was a shock to all of us in the University community.

But with true Manchester resilience, we're finding opportunity in the midst of adversity. Together, in partnership with The Christie (one of Europe’s largest cancer treatment hospitals) and Cancer Research UK, we’re aiming to build a new cancer facility that will rank amongst the very best in the world – right in the heart of Manchester.

This new facility will bring together the largest concentration of scientists, doctors and nurses in Europe, helping to deliver solutions to cancer more quickly. Through innovative advances in prevention, early detection and treatment, this world-leading hub will change – and even save – people’s lives.

But this will only be possible with the help of people like you.

A gift from you, no matter how big or small, will be vital to finding tomorrow’s solutions to one of the world’s most deadly diseases. So please, join us today, and help re-write the future of cancer.
