‘Alumni Perspectives’ Webinar Series
We are delighted to announce that Alumni Relations and the Postgraduate Career Service are relaunching our ‘Alumni Perspectives Webinar Series’ and look forward to welcoming our first guest speaker on Thursday 25 March at 12 Noon (GMT).
Our speaker is alumnus – Siobhan Clarke, Co-Author of The Founder Handbook, Non-Executive Director and Operating Partner at bp Launchpad.
Siobhan has spent her career at the business end of tech, launching and developing products across 3 continents in start-ups and large enterprise.
She started out in product marketing for an online e-commerce product, went on to lead an innovation team at a small consultancy focused on economic development – supporting the cycle from creation of ideas into world class companies.
After her MBA at Alliance Manchester Business School, she went on to work for Cisco in London, Singapore and San Francisco – leading transformational IT projects, developing strategic insights to accelerate sales & business areas and eventually leading the commercial development for a SaaS product prior to launch.
She has run her own business working with multiple start-ups in San Francisco and London on Go To market strategies. In September 2019 she joined BP Launchpad as Operating Partner, where she is building a new ‘EnergyFuture’ by investing in and scaling companies that will impact the shape of the world.
She’s passionate about bringing together people and ideas into executable plans that really work.
