After graduating from The University of Manchester in 1982, Philip began his career in the pharmaceutical industry, working in a variety of roles in sales, clinical research and marketing in the UK and internationally.

Langland is now recognised as the world’s most creatively awarded healthcare advertising agency. For the past 3 years in succession Langland has been honoured with the title of ‘Agency of the Year’ by the Global Awards®. The Global Awards® are the world’s largest and most coveted healthcare communications awards and are the only ones dedicated to the recognition of excellence on an international basis.

Beyond his work in advertising, Philip is also patron of Sebastian’s Action Trust, a charity based in Surrey, which provides a purpose-built holiday home and support for children with life-limiting illnesses and their families. The charity has recently been awarded the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.
